I was supposed to write about my trip to Genting Highlands (GH) 2 days ago but I am in pain, I still have aches and pains in every joint in my body.

I told both my sons at the last minute about the trip, knowing too well they'd be pestering me with all kinds of questions had I told them about it earlier. Both of them had no idea what to expect at GH... I found it hilarious when the youngest asked if there was a beach at GH!

I kept them in suspense coz finding out for themselves would be more exciting.
It was great to see my sister again after 2 years (as well as my bro-in-law and my adorable niece). I couldn't communicate with my niece seeing how she only speaks in German so it was just smiles and laughters that connected us. It was my 2nd time at GH and it has definitely changed a lot, there were more rides and attractions. We were fortunate that the weather was kind to us, breezy, windy and misty at times but it didn't rain.
I wanted to go for all the rides especially the roller coasters but I just didn't have the guts... yeah, I'm a coward. In the end I only went for the tamest of the rides, called the Cyclone. My youngest boy was terrified and he even cried during the ride... I wanted to cry too but it was too late since we were already on it. That was my one and only ride and I'm still reeling in pain.
But I am so proud with my eldest son coz he went to most of the big rides (the Flying Coaster and the Corkscrew) with some coaxing from me. Hats off to my sis for being the bravest of all, she went to all the big rides including the heart stopping Space Shot!

I had expected so much out of Snow World but it kinda left me disappointed. I expected a totally different atmosphere and landscape but it was kinda empty with just a small cottage, a hill, and an igloo. Even the snow was not even white. It feels like you were in a huge freezer and that was it.

My youngest son didn't like it coz he couldn't breathe properly. He said something like he didn't want to die and ran outside for some warmth!
The best for me were the Bumper cars and a game of Bowling! I only bowled once before and it surprised me that I managed to throw a few decent throws, well, quite a few ended up in the drain but I thoroughly enjoyed myself... even the boys and my sister had so much fun at the bowling center. The worst rides... don't bother going for the Pirate Train and the Crazy Space Lab! A waste of time.

Food was pricey! A plate of Chicken Rice cost RM12.50, a hotdog cost RM5.00 but that was expected. Maybe I'll just tapau some food if I do make another trip next time. It was unfortunate that the cable cars were under maintenance that day, the trip back left me with a terrible headache (coz the roads are snaky and steep).
Enjoy the pictures...
