This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.
Something funny happened today. I wrote about goats on my other blog and here I am doing a review on wool today. Wool originates from sheep. Goat, sheep... get the connection? Don't mind me, it's 1.00 am in the morning (way past my bedtime) and my mind is not working right.I don't really know much about wool. All I know is wool comes from sheeps. In my mind I have this picture of wool being fluffy, soft and light and would be a perfect material for pillows. Other products that I can think of is the wool yarn used in knitting and crochet.
Living in a tropical country like Malaysia, I prefer to wear clothes made from cotton as it is much cooler and lighter. I would never even consider wearing wool as it would be too hot for me. One thing I really dislike is heat! I have this image ingrained in my brain that wool refers to thick sweaters and is more suitable for temperate countries.
But then, I do have to keep up with the times as these days wool can also be as comfortable as cotton. At Ramblers Way you will find quite a bit of worsted wool apparels that are soft and comfy.
I would have never imagined underwear or camisole made from wool. I mean, wouldn't that itch like crazy? You can always check out their online store and you will find all kinds of everyday apparel made from wool. Some of them would even surprise you. It does make me tend to re-imagine wool being formed into your everyday clothing and not just something to keep you warm on those cool winter nights, not that we have winter here to begin with!

10 mumbles:
I've had a few wool garments and although they kept me very toasty warm they were itchy to wear. I can't imagine having wool underwear. I would think I would be hopping around like I had ants in my pants....lol

Ann ~ Wool garments do tend to make the skin feel itchy. I seldom wear my sweater unless it's really cold (which is very rare in Malaysia).
I would probably scratch like a mad monkey if I were to wear wool underwear... haha!
Chegu Carol ~ I think I used the same font last time but saiz dia lebih kicik la. I think it's better this size kan... mata pun no need to squint :)
