I have to agree with you. Most people don't really care unless those close to you. And those that are not close to you who actually cares must have something up their sleeves! You're right to just shoo them away :D

Well, I agrEED with this...before...for a long time...but then I surrounded myself with people who really DO care...and so now...I don't have to agree with it anymore... :)
I hate back stabbers, Mas.
I would rather people tell me upfront (even though it hurts) than be nice to me and say all kinds of things behind my back without knowing the truth.

You're fortunate and so blessed to be surrounded with people who cares :) Most are not so fortunate.
There are people who pretend to care, wants to know everything but their intention is to bring one down. I try to avoid these type of people, it's hard to detect them at first but gradually you will see their true colors.
i agree about the 'dont care' but not sure about 'glad u have it'.
i dont usually confide my personal problems with people other than my husband. kici2 punya problem such as work problems, it's biasa lah to share with your colleagues who most probably will understand your problems. if masalah dalaman diri sendiri...i 'talk' to my personal journal. ok kah tu? :D

I think it depends on the problem. Mostly i keep mine to myself...usually I figure out a solution anyway. I don't like being distracted by other people's so-called advice!

Ya, if work related memang biasa kalu bincang2 and share with colleagues.
Sia lama sudah inda tulis2 personal diary. Especially semenjak ada blog ni. Tapi of course if it's too personal, I don think it's wise to write everything in one's blog kan.
Duni ~ I mostly keep my probs to myself too unless if I really, really can't handle it. Not because I'm too proud or anything, just don't want to inconvenience anyone.
Bain ~ Hmmmm... mungkin pecahannya begini :~ 1% willing to help (family members, close frens, spouse), 20% don't care and 79% glad we have probs!
Well, 1% is still better than none ya :)

Rakan rapat mungkin la tapi ada segelintir rakan yang berbuat baik kat depan tapi memburuk-burukkan kita di belakang.
Seharusnya kita jangan la berasa gembira dengan kesusahan orang lain kan, mana tau di kemudian hari kita pulak yang kena... karma itu... urmm... macam mana nak translate 'Karma is a bitch??'
Mungkin jugak, mungkin Lou Holtz ni selalu dikecewakan oleh rakan2 nya sendiri.. kesian ye.
I think there's always the 5% who would listen, feel your pain and try to help. Those are the people who loves you. And even tho 5% is very little, it still counts.. :)
