It's no fun being moody. Life sometimes pull you down but you always have to pull yourself together and stop feeling like the world owes you. It's all in the attitude... yadda, yadda, yadda (yeah, puke now if you want... hehehe). I don't like being moody but it can't be helped at times. I'm only human... (sing with me)... born to make mistakes!
So, while I was out for lunch today I saw this gorgeous woman next to me having her lunch too. She was pregnant, I think she will pop anytime soon cos she was huge (and I couldn't help eavesdropping)... LOL! She was on the phone talking to her mom or maybe her sister about maternity clothes .
I noticed most maternity clothes these days are stylish and very up-to-date. Unlike those days, maternity clothes were more like over-sized sleeping gowns, some even resembled baby doll dresses. When you're huge and you're wearing an even bigger and rounder dress, it's not cute. Oh god, I still remember how awful I felt wearing those ruffles on the sleeves but those days (more than a decade ago) you really didn't have much choice when it comes to maternity dresses.
Today they have a variety of maternity dresses that don't even look like maternity dresses. Take this site, AppleSeedBoutique.com for example. They have a wide selection of maternity wear for the hip and modern expectant mums, even tops, suits, swimsuits as well as baby clothes, diaper bags, strollers... I could go on and on. If you're expecting or know someone whose expecting, do check it out. I'm sure you'll find something that catches your fancy.

I received an H&M catalog the other day, and as I was looking through the maternity section I thought...hey, I want that! Hahaha, and I'm not even pregnant, but the clothes looked really cool. I do have a couple of babydoll tops though, that make me look pregnant. LOL

I agree with you, maternity clothes have come a really long way...now if I see maternity clothes that are cute and cool for plus sizes that would be awesome! :)

When I was pregnant the second time around I wore sweat pants and some of my dad's old shirt...lol. I wasn't working so I didn't have to look good just feel comfy.
Maternity clothes, some of em look so cute that massy can tertipu thought normal clothes orz.

I've tried those baby doll dresses before but I looked so silly! LOL!
I think those are more suited to petite and slimmer figures.

Nessa, you are soooo not going to see me wearing the 'one-piece' maternity gown yang orang dulu2 selalu pakai tu. Not in a million years. It makes us look like penguin. (referring to jalan kengkang wearing the gown) Kakakaka
