Mumblings

The weekend is here again. I'm just glad my son has recovered from his fever... phew! I was really worried there for a while.

It was two frantic days of stress for me. This flu epidemic has really driven a lot of people on edge especially mothers with little children. I dread to read the online news whenever it reports another death related to the A(H1N1) virus. I cannot imagine how the doctors and nurses cope at the hospitals. Their stress levels must be sky-high having to directly deal with the infected patients.

Looks like my shopping this week will be quieter as I will not be bringing my boys with me like I'd normally do. I wish I could shop for groceries online, have them delivered right to my doorstep. That would be awesome. Maybe they do have such a service but I just don't know if it exists in this country.

My cousin got married yesterday. I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate both Boy and Elaine and wish them a very happy married life. May you both love and hold each other in the worst of times with trust, faith and belief; hoping the best on your auspicious wedding. I'm truly very sorry I couldn't make it to your wedding.

What with the A(H1N1) epidemic going around, I'm really trying to limit my contact in public as much as possible. Of course since I can't make it to your wedding means I can't give you a wedding present, but fret not, since you're getting married and all, maybe you can visit this Adult TV like Apple TV site for some urrmmm, ideas for your wedding night ... (ahem) ... just kidding ya!

And just before I sign off, though you may have heard it a hundred times before, don't forget to wash your hands thoroughly with sanitizing soap when you come home. It's really one of the first steps in limiting the chance of catching the dreaded A(H1N1) virus!
