So, I went and searched for a cangkul (hoe) and started digging...

Yeah, those are my not so elegant legs... full of dirt and not very flattering

Halfway there...

The end-result. For a woman in her late 30's and hasn't touched a cangkul in ages, it's not bad work eh

Phew, I smelled worse than a rotten onion after all that digging. If I had jumped into a river, I'm sure all the fishes would have jumped out! Hmmm... maybe I could market the scent and call it Eau De Parit or something in some perfume blog! LOL!

24 mumbles:
Wah, you went home and dug a ditch? Cool la, I would have fainted half way... hahahahaha...
Looks like a cool new hobby you've found Nessa. Pretty good work there hahaha.
hahah..wow..i can see the difference before and after..you are a good digger..wakkak...i guess that's the new hobby.hahah
errr.. what were u digging for? hahahahhaha
errr.. can u come here and dig me a small pool in my garden tooo?? i could use a swiimmmmming pool now that its so hot.. i'll promise to let u have the first swim.. hehhehehhehe
err... nice pair of shorts.. hehhehehehe..
i think my dad wud probably faint if i did something like this in the garden.. he knows i'll give up after digging halfway.. and scoot.. hahhaahaa.. then he has to finish up ;)
Mat Dingo ~ The drain was clogged. I can't stand seeing murky and standing water so had to make a ditch to clear away the stagnant water. Actually it took me 2 days to complete the ditch so I'm no superwoman. I'd have fainted too if I did it in just a day!
Bem69 ~ Well, I like to see things work properly... so in a way it's a hobby I guess :) Gee, thanks! LOL!
Sweet Girlicious ~ Thanks for the compliments... a good digger! Hahaha
Anny ~ I was making a drainage for the clogged drain cos the old ditch was filled with grass and earth. Clogged drains breed mosquito larvae and there were a lot in there... pretty gross.
err.. can u still dig me a swimming pooooooool?
me thinks ur a berry good dotter... to spend 2 days to do this for ur home :D *pats on Nessa's back*
LOL @ 'Eau De Parit'!!! :-D
Olla Nessa!
"Eau De Paghit (Parit)" - Availabe now at Pavilion. haha, sounds brilliant.
Super salute to you for finally succeeded in mencangkul. Double Clap! for you yaa..
Now seeing this, i guess it is time for me to do some "Eau De Parit" too this weekend. I am guessing mine will be eau de toilet, where as yours might be eau de parfum. :D
Have a great day ya.
Monica ~ Would you be interested to buy one?? ;)
Anny ~ Aiyoyo... swimming pool ka??! I need an excavator for dat!
Rizal ~ Hola Rizal! Pekabar?? :D
Tenkiu for the salute and double clap. Cangkul-mencangkul ni senang, belajar dari mak dulu masa kecik2... dulu tanam sayor, skrang korek parit je :)
Rizal nak mencangkul jugak ke dis weekend?? Nak korek apa ye?
You have a great day too! Thanks for dropping by.
Anny ~ Shorts tu mahal tau... hehehe. I advise you not to do this at home, unless you nak blisters on your hands and smelling like a rotten onion! :P
rotten onions ka? it cud be lil sweet and tangy pungent.. hehehe u could be very well on ur way to creating ur new parfum de paritt ;)
btw.. my shorts... urmm.. u sure dun wanna see the condition of those.. hahaha.. after being stuck at home for 2 whole years.. i find it no reason to shop for clothes anymore :D
Anny ~ I might consider if there are permintaan ;) Sepa la nak pakai Eau De Parit ye??
Working in shorts and tees, now that's super cool! :D
Nessa, this is some dirty job but you managed on. How cool!
Just like anny said she would give up halfway. I will too......got no energy!
Yoon See ~ It was exciting at first but after 10 minutes, my body ached all over. I couldn't stop halfway... but actually I did. I stopped but continued the next day! :D
I've got loads of energy... got extra layers of fat on me la. Need to get rid of them.
Haha! Tayang kaki jak lah... Ok beh!! Ada projek balik kampung. :D
Crystal ~ Gumuk ba sia ni :( Tayang kaki seja dii. Nah, kaki pun basar mcm kaki gajah seja...
