Ken Ong is having a giveaway contest to coincide with the opening of his new online store called Living Tapestry. The one who comes up with the most creative slogan will win the contest. A piece of cake, right? eyebrown

S'more Keyboard: Not For Dieters!

First it was Chocolator... now, we have Chocoboard! And the best part is it's all edible, not just a scented version!! drool

Just don't try to hook this to your computer (it's just a replica of a keyboard) unless you want swarms of ants infesting your PC, that is! IF only this was for real.laugh

They're supposedly made of Graham crackers, marshmallows and real chocolate bars for the keys. This is what I call a deliciously sinful S'mores shaped keyboard. By the way, this is NOT available at the stores... some guy just made it up. Yeah, the wonders of Photo Shop. I wonder what they can't do with Photo Shop these days.

Perhaps a professional baker could make these... after all, the ingredients are easy to find. Just a matter of assembling them. I would say the toughest part would be the marshmallow keys and cutting the biscuits without breaking them to pieces! I'll bet it would be a hit if someone actually made this and marketed it out worldwide.biggrin

A S'more is a traditional campfire treat popular in the US and Canada, consisting of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham cracker. The name "s'more" means "some more", as in: "give me some more!" ~ Wikipedia

All That Glitters Is Gold

I've recently been patronizing the Petronas gas station opposite my house quite a bit lately. No, it's not because they're selling cheap gas or anything like that. It's all because I discovered they're selling this certain brand of snacks for just RM1.00 only!moneyeyes

I was amazed when I first saw the items on display. So I bought a few just to try some and besides my younger boy is constantly hungry and these snacks will keep him quiet for a little while at least. I can only take so much 'mommy, I'm hungry, mommy, I'm hungry' for one day. RM1.00 was too good a buy to pass up. The usual price of snacks at this station is a minimum of RM2.00 plus.

And I must say that after trying out a few various flavors, I was hooked. It was tasty and decent for a one Ringgit snack and I started buying it by the dozens like as if they were precious gold bars. heehee

The sad thing is, it's running out of stock and I think I'm the one buying all of it bit by bit. I don't think they'll be replacing it cos it's on some kind of promotion but until it's totally out of stock, I'll be hoarding snacks in my cupboard. Not that it'll stay there all that long with my two perpetually hungry boys eating them non-stop!

I bought a few cards and I must say I am impressed with the quality of her cards, not much difference from the cards you can find from the stores and the price is definitely much cheaper. In fact, shopping for her cards was so easy and hassle free. I got it done within a few minutes. I received my cards (plus a few freebies thrown in ... woohoo!) in just 3 days (weekends not included) after placing my order.applause

Emila's lovely cards. My favorite is definitely the adorable cat!

The freebies... thank you Emila!

To be honest, this was my first experience buying cards online and I'm surprised by the ease of things. I'm definitely buying some more cards and may even commission Emila to do a painting for me one fine day. I'm even more pleasantly surprised when she told me I was her first customer. It's an honor to be customer #1!biggrin
